A plain-language description of what this website does with your information.
Draft. This page describes how the website works today. It has not been reviewed by a legal professional, and the operator’s contact and hosting details will be added before launch.
The short version
- The tools process your files and text in your own browser. Toolora does not receive them.
- There are no accounts, no advertising and no analytics or tracking scripts on this site.
- The only thing saved on your device is your light or dark theme choice.
What you enter into the tools
Images you add to the Image Compressor and Image Resizer, text in the Word Counter, JSON in the JSON Formatter, and the details you enter in the WiFi QR Generator and QR Code Generator (including WiFi passwords, email addresses, phone numbers and contact details) are processed by your browser on your device. They are not sent to Toolora or to any third party, are not added to the page address, and are not kept after you close or reload the page. Files you download are created on your device.
What is stored on your device
If you switch between the light and dark theme, your choice is saved in your browser’s local storage under the name theme
so the site can remember it. It contains only the word “light” or “dark”. The site does not set cookies.
Information your browser sends when you visit
Like any website, loading a page means your browser requests it from the web server that hosts the site, and that server receives normal technical details such as your IP address and the page requested. The hosting provider has not been named here yet; this page will be updated to say who it is and how long such logs are kept. Toolora does not add its own analytics on top of this.
The contact form
The form on the Contact page is currently a placeholder. It checks what you type but does not send it anywhere.
